Lesson 133: Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness

This week’s beatitude is: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6.

David is a good candidate for this lesson. God called him “a man after His own heart,” because though David was by no means perfect (eg 2 Sam. 11 & 12), he longed for God’s righteousness (Pslam 23, Psalm 51).
